This two day course is a required discipline approved by the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), and is conducted following requirements under the Module Accreditation Plan (MAP). It is also, strictly regulated by the State of Michigan, the Department of Consumer and Industry Services, and the Department of Occupational Health-Asbestos Division. Individuals who are required to have this level of training and receive accreditation include: all individuals who prepare management plans for schools. Any individual seeking management planner accreditation must also have a valid inspector's certification.
