Noise Assessments
Excessive noise exposure is regulated by the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) regulations for general industry and construction. Noise above the action limit of 85 decibels and the permissible exposure limit of 90 decibels (slow response) is considered excessive and requires an employer to protect the employees working in areas that exceed these limits. Hearing conservation programs or engineering controls may be implemented to control the hazard. Contact us for noise monitoring and program generation as well as the institution of engineering controls.
